May 2023 Newsletter

Saturday was a Club day with Paul doing the honours. Turned the outside of a large vase at the morning session and hollowed it at the afternoon session.
Janet and Dave had a practice and familiarisation with carbide tools which appeared to be successful. Sorry no picture.

Next meeting May 13th will be a club day/hands on which means a free for all discussion everything except religion and politics. (political discussion can be by  arrangement only)

Lathes will be available for demonstration and problem solving. If you have any questions or problems please do not be shy and ask. If you don't ask you will not get an answer. We were all beginners and had to solve problems so maybe we can help.

See you there

Fred

I am afraid that this is the way it will be from now on. Due to eye sight problems I am no longer allowed to drive so I won’t be coming to any more meetings although if Chris has a day when she feels up to a long drive we might make the odd one. Don’t want to miss out on the fish and chips!!

The next meeting is on Saturday 13th May and it is once again a club day where as you know anything and everything can happen. The club lathes will be out where you can have a go yourself or get one of us to show you whatever you need help with.
You know you luv em. Have fun

Graham.
